UK Journalism continues to be the greatest argument on the planet against freedom of the press; whether its ignoring non-British drivers in F1, hacking the phones of children who passed away or churning out AI slop, you can guarantee British journalists will be pioneers in the least ethical kinds of journalism.

Like you said, this won't go away and I have no doubt we'lll see AI reviews on Substack from people trying to make a quick buck, we just have to stamp it out every single time. Zero tolerance.

This genuinely pisses me off so much. I spend a lot of time playing games and writing my reviews, the fact that that review was written with AI and so blatantly is just despicable. I've disliked Videogamer for a bit because they often seem kinda clickbaity but now that dislike has grown to anger at them. And then to leave the review up and have the disclaimer at the top that you can trust them? Fuck that shit. Your title is dead on, what is even the point of this? Infuriating.
